Thoughts about Thinking Without Thinking

Today I stumbled across a new book at Costco. It's by Malcolm Gladwell, titled, "What the Dog Saw".  I have read an earlier book he wrote, "Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking," and it was thoroughly entertaining.  It was one of those books that made you feel smarter as you read it, yet entertained you the whole way through.  Gladwell has a delightful way of putting his observations and social theories into a story form that is hard to put down.
As one reviewer put it, "Blink is about the first two seconds of looking--the decisive glance that knows in an instant", and some of the consequences, whether good or bad about the conclusionns we subconciously jump to. It makes the human mind seem even more fascinating, and I highly enjoyed reading it.

I'm not sure what his new book is about, but I look forward to finding out...
